Instagram and a Bit of an Update
Hey! So I got Instagram recently, and it's where I'll be posting little doodles,idle sketches, some WIPs and even some finished projects that'd be difficult to scan. I'm excited about sharing more of my art with you guys that way (it's easier than going through all of the submission process in dA). Digital Realistic Hair Techniques?
I'm working on this piece that I'm excited about sharing with you guys - however I am having trouble with the hair. it keeps coming out looking either ratchet or somewhat of a ragdoll-type hairstyle. I'm using my usual technique but for this portrait it just ain't working. Is there any sort of help you guys can offer to me?

I'm sure at least once you've uploaded something that you were excited/proud of. And I'm sure that you thought you were gonna get feedback.
But you know what I'm seeing lately?
Beautiful pieces that are not being commented on.
Now, I'm not saying that my art is particularily beautiful, but I'm experiencing this as well. And I'm kind of getting mad about it. It's making me think "what is it? is it because of my other past fandoms? is it because I'm not doing ANY fanart? Is it because most of my watchers were fans of the fandoms I am no longer doing art for? what's happening here?" I mean sure, I get favourites, and sure I'm happy I get them
